Pay: $35-40/hr
Hours: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 5:00pm

Position Summary: The Install Field Trainer is responsible for training the install team on installing heating and air conditioning systems, accessories, and ductwork to company standards while providing the customer with a high-quality experience. Must be familiar with all applicable codes and ensure work is done properly, within allotted timelines and on budget.
Requirements:
- 5 years of residential installation experience
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- EPA Certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating preferred
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to carry 100lbs overhead with assistance
- Must possess basic safety knowledge of tools and surroundings including how to safely use a ladder
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice
Primary Job Duties:
- Working in the field, leading the professional execution of projects with various customers and employees
- Participates in the training, development and mentoring of less experienced employees.
- Promotes the overall effectiveness of the organization by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities of other members of the department
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC operating issues
- Ability to read blue and understand blueprints
- Schedule all rough in and commercial inspections
- Able to read a wiring diagram
- Conduct daily job site visits to ensure quality work
- Manage all failed inspections
- Train employees in safety matters, procedures and equipment operation
- Properly prepare the job site using drop cloths, moving furniture or obstructions and prepare surface areas using floor protectors
- Train team members on how to properly remove all install flexible ductwork per code, support ductwork per code, remove equipment per code, and clean ductwork with duct cleaning machine
- Complete and train team members on necessary paperwork to support invoices, estimates, orders, inventory, timecards and other information provided to customers, coworkers and supervisors as needed
- Pick up parts, supplies and equipment from distributors in company vehicle as needed or required
- Clean job site. Job site should be picked up and left in a condition better or equivalent to that as when we arrived. This includes moving all trash and debris, sweeping or vacuuming site, removing all tools, parts and equipment.
- Train team members on how to properly connect ductwork to equipment with screws per code, seal ductwork per code, run ? PVC drain lines per code, and clean dryer vent
- Safely work off 10" and above ladders, and extension ladders
- Check out materials on inventory listing from warehouse
- Use and perform workflow process on service software through mobile device
- Obtain positive customer google reviews
