What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Associate position at STACI AMERICAS?
As a Staci Americas Logistics Associate, you will facilitate communication between the production, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain. He or she will be working in the warehouse to manage all events associated with the product life cycle, including material acquisition, allocation, distribution and delivery. The role will also be involved in monitoring inventory, purchasing, transportation and warehousing activities to maintain and expedite the supply chain, you'll be a role model of the warehouse operations standards that define our Staci Customer Experience. You'll be working alongside with a team to deliver quality customer service both internal and external across multiple areas. You'll be in an energetic warehouse environment where you'll have the ability to positively influence and guide others, maintain an encouraging team environment, and grow your leadership skills.
- Coordinating with shipping/transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments
- Manage logistics supply chain operations, including import/export shipments, trucks services, and warehousing.
- Coordinate and manage pickup/deliveries and monitor all tracking/tracing update requirements.
- Work with customers, carriers, and warehouse to resolve issues with shipments.
- Perform data entry and prepare shipment documentation.
- Ensure Transit reports.
- Manage shipping and delivery to include all necessary paperwork & specific requirements.
- Provide status reports to supervisor and managers.
- Assistant with warehouse staff as necessary.
- Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to proper channels
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Making special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Tracking and fixing shipping errors
- Preparing bills and invoices
- Managing distribution and shipment budgets
- Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards
- Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
Your Skills And Qualifications Include
- Minimum 2 years progressive warehousing experience required, preferably in high volume Ecommerce consumer goods and luxury operation.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment/setting.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge and operation of WMS systems.
- Must be a strong team player with a positive attitude towards work and staff engagement.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with great communication (verbal and written) ability.
- Maintain high level of integrity and professionalism, both internally (Functional Teams) and externally.
- Must be available to work morning, afternoon/evening shifts and weekends.
- Must have proof of valid U.S. work authorization.
Physical Aspects of the Position (include but not limited to):
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, ramps.
