Vault Clerk/Verification Specialist

Description

The Vault Clerk / Verification Specialist is responsible for the secure handling, verification, and preparation of serialized pistols within a pistol manufacturing facility. This role ensures customer orders are accurate, complete, and compliant by verifying serial numbers, build configurations, and order documentation prior to shipment. The position plays a critical role in maintaining vault organization, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Order Verification & Processing

• Print and review pistol orders and associated documentation
• Verify serial numbers against sales orders, build records, and inventory systems
• Confirm pistol build correctness, configuration, and order completeness
• Identify and resolve discrepancies related to serial numbers, build details, or order documentation
  
  

Packaging & Shipment Preparation

• Package verified pistol orders according to company and regulatory standards
• Ensure all required components, accessories, and documentation are included
• Prepare orders for handoff to shipping while maintaining chain-of-custody requirements
  
  

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

• Investigate and troubleshoot build, serial, or order discrepancies
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, compliance, and shipping teams to resolve issues
• Document corrections and resolutions in applicable systems
  
  

Vault & Inventory Management

• Maintain organization and security of the firearm vault
• Accurately track and move serialized inventory within systems and physical storage
• Assist with cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits of serialized firearms
• Ensure vault operations meet ATF and internal compliance standards
  
  

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all firearm handling, safety, and security procedures
• Maintain strict adherence to ATF regulations and company policies
• Protect sensitive inventory and documentation at all times
