Senior Software Engineer: FHIR/HL7, Python, AWS, Modern LLM Dev Experi

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Back End: Strong Python with production FastAPI, solid MySQL and/or PostgreSQL and experience working on AWS (experience with AWS tools and AWS infrastructure is a plus)...experience writing LLM type features into an existing application is preferred.
• Front End: Modern Server Hosted Front End JavaScript Tools: experience with HTMX, Tailwind, Alpine.js, Jinja2 or similar
• Experience working on a Very Small Dev Team where the developers also handle CI/CD, Q.A. and similar tasks
• Experience with HL7, FHIR and/or PCI-DSS ideally for Health care based coding is preferred; Experience with HIPAA based applications is a strong plus

Pluses:

• Experience with healthcare or other regulated data environments (PHI, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Industry Domain: Pharmacy or medical benefits, claims, or clinical program type apps.
• Self-hosting open-source model development experience: Qwen, Lllama, Miostral or similar.
• Experience using Claude AI coding tools is a plus: GitHub CLI, Claude.md project memory, Context MCP, Browser, LSP or similar in your day-to-day work flow alongside.
• Education: A College Degree in Computer Science is preferred.
