Principle Duties and Responsibilities for Expeditor/Food Runner:
In the Food Expeditor/Food Runner role, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive their proper orders accurately and according to Stable Craft Brewery (SCB) standards. Success in this role will be demonstrated by positive feedback from our guests through timely and accurate order delivery.
Key elements and expectations of the job include:
- Maintaining verbal communication with kitchen, staff and guests
- Monitors the quality of dishes before leaving the kitchen
- Checks in with guests to ensure their experience is satisfactory
- Handle various impromptu requests from customers
- Ensures restaurant adherence to health and sanitation standards
- Makes final preparations on dishes including garnishments and utensils
- Addresses complaints of guests with kitchen and management to preserve the Brewery's reputation
- Must be able to multitask in order to ensure customers get their orders promptly
- Possess a high degree of organizational skills to easily locate tables and bar patrons to fulfill everyone’s orders
- Assists SCB team members where needed
- Assist in the setup and break down of kitchen/server area
- Deliver food orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner
- Clear tables and clean dining areas after guests have finished their meals
- Follow proper food safety and handling procedures
- Completes opening and closing duties according to SCB's standards
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- Other duties assigned from Management
