Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans.
Duties
- Work directly with individuals to implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients
- Collect and record data on client behavior
- Assist in developing treatment goals and objectives
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing interventions
- Educate and support families on behavior management techniques
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Skills
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain patient and calm in challenging situations
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques
- Familiarity with medical documentation practices
- Background in special education is a plus
