Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly driven Technical Program/Project Manager to support cross-functional initiatives across both the Security and Cloud/Infrastructure teams. This role will act as a bridge between technical teams and executive leadership, ensuring the successful delivery of complex, high-impact programs across cloud architecture, security frameworks, and enterprise infrastructure.
This individual must be technically fluent—able to “talk the talk” with engineers and security professionals—while maintaining strong program oversight, executive communication, and delivery accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate enterprise-level projects across Security and Cloud/Infrastructure teams, managing shared priorities and dependencies
- Drive execution of cloud and security initiatives, including Azure-based environments, infrastructure modernization, and governance frameworks
- Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable updates for executive stakeholders
- Own project planning and tracking within Jira, including creation and management of epics, user stories, and workflows
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, security, and business teams
- Maintain visibility into risks, timelines, and deliverables, proactively driving resolution and accountability
- Support initiatives related to cloud architecture, infrastructure buildouts (including SQL Server environments), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards such as NIST and ISO frameworks
- Deliver executive-level reporting on program health, milestones, and financial or operational impact
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in technical project or program management within cloud and/or security environments
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Azure architecture and cloud infrastructure concepts
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools
- Experience supporting or managing projects involving SQL Server environments and enterprise infrastructure
- Solid understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO
- Proven experience using Jira for project tracking (epics, stories, workflows)
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive leadership
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure landing zones and governance models
- Exposure to enterprise security stacks (identity, endpoint, network, SIEM, etc.)
- Background working in hybrid environments (cloud on-prem infrastructure)
