Job Summary
The Critical Float Registered Nurse (RN) provides expert, flexible, and compassionate nursing care across multiple critical care units, including Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Cardiac Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Department (ED), and Step-Down Units. This role requires the ability to adapt quickly to diverse patient populations, conditions, and unit workflows while maintaining high standards of care and patient safety.
The resource nurse is responsible for providing education and training to other nurses and healthcare professionals on a wide range of topics, such as medical procedures, equipment, and medication administration. This position is responsible for providing professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process within an assigned unit; assesses, treats and care for patients demonstrating an understanding of the cognitive, physical, emotional and chronological maturation process; coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the work of other professional and non-professional personnel.

- 3-5 years Critical Care experience required
