My client is a well-funded Crypto trading startup here in New York City that is looking to hire a new Head of Engineering to take over their existing trading platform.
They currently have one person who is both Head of Trading and Head of Engineering, and they need someone to become their sole Head of Engineering.

Requirements
• You should have experience building a real-time trading platform either at a traditional or a Crypto firm before.
• Experience building, growing and mentoring an engineering team.
• PhD or Masters in a related field.
Compensation
• $200,000 - $400,000 Total Compensation depending on potential equity stake.

What's the Job?
My client is a well-funded Crypto trading fund that is backed by a very successful serial entrepreneur. They currently have a Head of Trading and Head of Engineering that is doing both roles, but as they grow, they want someone to be the sole head of Engineering/CTO. From the beginning, your role will be to decide to improve, modify, or rebuild their current platform. Moving forward as they grow, you will help to build up, hire, mentor and lead their engineering team.
This is a Crypto startup, so you should be excited about working in this space, or ideally come from that background. It’s okay if you have experience building a trading platform at a traditional financial firm.
You will be working remotely at first, but their goal is to have a new office here in New York City by the end of 2025 or early 2026. They would like to fill this role as soon as possible, so if you are interested please apply today.

This role is located in New York City, but you will work remotely until the end of 2025 or early 2026 until they obtain an office.
Interview Process
This is a three-step interview process. You will interview with the founder, then with the current Head of Engineering. Finally, there would be a follow-up technical interview with both followed by an offer.
