Mental Health Therapist -- St. Vincent's Behavioral Health Center in White Plains, NY
Under the direction of clinic leadership, this part-time therapist provides comprehensive mental health services for a diverse client population. Candidates are expected to be able to utilize evidenced based practices, and to be comfortable using individual, group, and family treatment modalities. Tasks include intake evaluations, active outreach & engagement, ongoing therapy, crisis intervention & risk assessment, collaboration with clinic psychiatrists and NPs, coordination of care with other service providers, and required documentation.
Other important hiring considerations:
- Prior experience in an outpatient mental health setting
- NY State behavioral health license required LCSW, LMSW, LMHC preferred; LP licensure will also be considered
- Prior experience with electronic medical record documentation
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred, not required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Salary Range (3 days/week): $45,000 -- 51,000
