Store Manager / Assistant Manager
Position Summary
The Donation Attendant is responsible for greeting donors, receiving donated items, assisting with unloading donations, issuing donation receipts, and helping maintain an organized and safe donation area. This position plays an important role in supporting the mission of St. Vincent de Paul through excellent customer service and efficient donation processing.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greet donors and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Accept and unload donations safely and efficiently
- Provide donation receipts when requested
- Sort and organize donations according to store procedures
- Identify acceptable and non-acceptable donation items
- Keep donation dock, storage, and work areas clean and organized
- Move donations to sorting or sales areas
- Assist with sorting donations as needed
- Communicate respectfully with donors, volunteers, staff, and customers
- Follow safety procedures
- Remove trash and recycling when necessary
- Full-Time / Part-Time
- Saturday availability required
