St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store & Outreach – Marshfield, WI.
Seeking an energetic, friendly, and positive Assistant Manager that will work closely with the Thrift Store Manager and Outreach Director with daily operations of our organization. This role requires overseeing day-to-day operations within our organization and providing exceptional customer service to our patrons, leading the team to achieve daily and long-term goals in a positive, enthusiastic manner, and act as a positive role model by following policies, procedures, and fulfilling the organization’s mission. Candidate will assume full operational responsibilities if/when the Store Manager and/or Outreach Director are not available.
The Assistant Manager position is a full-time position scheduled 40 hours per week. Work schedule is generally 8-9 hour shifts between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday thru Friday.

- Able to work within a fast-paced setting, which may require lifting and carrying up to 50lbs, as well as the ability to withstand extended periods of standing, walking, and climbing stairs throughout the day.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of customer service to our shoppers, donors, and Outreach clients.
- Assist with daily store operations such as opening/closing, merchandising departments, and cash register operation.
- Lead the team to achieve daily goals and objectives to ensure tasks are being completed.
- Accurately handle cash transactions, count deposits, and deliver deposits to the bank.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff, along with conducting staff meetings.
- Efficient and effective problem-solving.
- Assist with hiring, performance reviews, training, and scheduling.
- General administrative duties which include filing, bookkeeping, record keeping.
