Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our medical office team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service to patients, manage front office operations, and support providers and staff in delivering quality patient care.

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
• Verify insurance information and collect co-pays/payments
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the system
• Handle patient inquiries and assist with forms and paperwork
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, faxes, and emails
• Ensure the reception and waiting area remain clean and organized
• Follow HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
• Coordinate with medical staff regarding patient flow and scheduling needs

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous receptionist or medical office experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification is a plus
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and positive attitude

--Minimum 2 years of experience

--Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is required; Nextgen experience is a plus

--Patient-centered approach: Must always prioritize patient care and customer service

--Ability to travel to our satellite clinic as needed

--Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

•  (Office hours are: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)

Position Offers:

• Competitive hourly pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
