Position Overview:
St. Teresa of Calcutta School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled, and dedicated Middle School Teacher to join our school family. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction for middle school students.
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment that promotes learning and respect.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate records of grades and attendance.
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and interactions.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to support school initiatives and student success.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
- Utilize technology to enhance instruction and student engagement.
- Maintain classroom materials and contribute positively to the school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
- Pennsylvania teaching certification preferred.
- Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and families.
- Current clearances and background checks as required by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching multiple subject areas.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
