- 1 year of experience in the outpatient orthopedic setting preferred but not required
- Experience and proficiency in using an electronic medical record (EMR)
Responsibilities Include:
- Administration of direct patient care under the supervision of a physical therapist
- Observe patients before, during, and after therapy, noting the patient’s status and reporting it to a physical therapist
- Use devices and equipment, such as walkers, to help patients
- Educate patients and family members about what to do after treatment
- Submits required documentation in accordance with the policies and procedures of the department.
- Participates in quality improvement chart reviews and activities.
- Performs related duties, as required.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited college, required.
- Must be currently certified and registered as Physical Therapy Assistant in New York State
- Or must have a valid permit and become certified and registered within one (1) year of employment.
- Previous outpatient experience preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

· 2- M-F from 2 pm -7 PM (PART TIME)
License/Certification:

- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (MUST)
