Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff coordination
- Support food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards and consistency
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Supervise inventory control, food safety practices, and food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Train, develop, and motivate staff members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold restaurant standards
- Monitor kitchen and front-of-house activities to optimize workflow and reduce waste
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles within quick service, fast food, casual dining, or fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with cash handling is essential
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates
