Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties in a church setting, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment
- Follow OSHA guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other designated areas
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment for floor care, including mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning
- Dispose of waste and hazardous materials according to established procedures
- Perform inventory and restock supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other members of the environmental services team to ensure efficient operations
Skills:
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to environmental services in healthcare facilities
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and other staff members
