Inside Sales/Tool Crib Coordinat

Inside Sales/Tool Crib on-site personnel play a key role for the Company in this position, since they are a direct point-of-contact of the Company in the customer accounts to which assigned. As such, personnel must have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, including management, and must always present themselves in a friendly, courteous manner with a high level of professionalism, while providing support and exceptional service to the customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Oversee and Support Tool Crib operations to ensure optimal customer service levels

· Enter quotes and customer orders into Prophet 21 in an accurate and timely manner

· Assist in the resolution of discrepancies found in orders, transfers and/or inventory levels

· Follow-up to ensure that customer orders are filled correctly and inventory is put into vending machines and/or proper bin locations

· Helps to identify and resolve issues as they relate to other departments

· Must fulfill customer orders correctly to ensure accurate inventory levels

· Must expedite orders in a timely manner, and provide follow-up to customer as necessary

· Ensure that any transfer, repair, customer or vendor return is properly packaged and shipped daily

· Must respond to all customer and Company requests in a professional and timely manner

· Responsible for status inquiries, including customer expediting and data entry into the computer

· Responsible for completing credits and returns in an accurate and timely manner

· May be responsible for assisting in special projects that arise

· Must work safely while in the customer’s facility and must follow all customer rules and regulations

· Responsible for understanding, implementing, and maintaining the Salem Tools quality management system

· Responsible for understanding and striving to meet Salem Tools' quality goals and objectives

· Responsible for the timely close out of internal audit findings

Responsible for documenting customer complaints and implementing corrective and preventative action where necessary
