Housekeeper- St. Robert, MO

Position Title: Housekeeper
Location: St. Robert Bellarmine Church, St. Robert, Missouri
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: 4–5 hours per week. Thursdays beginning at 10:00 a.m. are preferred to accommodate the parish schedule and the priest's availability.

Position Summary

St. Robert Bellarmine Church is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for parishioners, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the church facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms.
• Clean the kitchen, including countertops, sinks, cabinets, and appliances.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the facility.
• Dust furniture, shelves, baseboards, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean interior windows.
• Keep ceiling fans and light fixtures clean as needed.
• Change bed linens on a weekly basis.
• Wash and maintain washable rugs on a regular schedule.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate staff member.
• Perform other light housekeeping duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Dependable, trustworthy, and punctual.

Work Environment

This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing routine cleaning tasks throughout the church campus. The Housekeeper plays an important role in ensuring the facilities remain clean, orderly, and welcoming for worship, ministry, and parish events.
