St. Philip’s is seeking an experienced, passionate, and collaborative Early Childhood Co-Teacher to join our teaching team. Co-teachers play an important role in delivering engaging instruction, differentiating learning, and supporting the academic and social-emotional growth of students. - Provide a warm, inviting classroom community and a positive and productive learning environment
- Identify and respond to individual students’ learning differences and create varied enrichment opportunities
- In collaboration with fellow teachers, identify and respond to individual student’s academic and social-emotional needs
- Establish classroom routines and expectations with a positive and effective behavior management system
- Use a variety of teaching techniques and strategies to engage students in learning, including varied instructional methods that engage the students with different modalities – auditory, visual, kinesthetic
- Monitor student progress and develop effective support and/or intervention as needed
- Foster strong family partnerships through consistent, effective communication, modeling a spirit of hospitality and responsiveness in all interactions
- Collaborate with special area teachers to plan and integrate units of study
- Utilize technology in the classroom in an authentic and effective way
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress, parent communication and lessons
- Perform assigned, ongoing scheduled responsibilities with care (recess, lunch duty, dismissal, etc.)
- Participate in all team, grade level, and faculty meetings
- Have a deep respect for children
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- 3 years of classroom teaching experience (early childhood experience required)
- CPR certification (preferred)
- Child Development Associate Certification (preferred)
- Strong pedagogical skills
- Experience developing meaningful instruction and differentiated learning experiences
- Deep understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with young children
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a teaching team
- Demonstrated ability to build trusting, professional relationships with parents and caregivers
- Computer skills and extensive experience in online learning and virtual learning platforms, Google Classroom, Google Hangouts Meet, and Apple products preferred

Salary range: $50,000 – $70,000 based on experience and qualifications
Full-time position
U.S. work authorization required
Employment contingent upon background check and fingerprinting
