Position Summary
Saint Peter School is seeking full time middle school teachers in the areas of mathematics, theology, and
ELA.
The ideal candidate will incorporate their pedagogical expertise into their instructional practices, exemplify a
commitment to Catholic education, and illustrate a willingness to work collaboratively on a team to uphold
our school’s mission.
Job Qualifications
● Hold a current RI teaching certificate preferred
● Bachelor’s degree
Job Responsibilities
1. Work collaboratively with the other teachers on the middle school team and all staff throughout the
community
2. Plan and deliver instruction to Middle School students
3. Practicing positive, consistent discipline in the management of the classroom
4. Plan for instruction that is differentiated to meet the needs of all learners in the classroom, including
students who need support and enrichment
5. Use effective instructional methods and best practices for the grade level
6. Collaborate with the school community to enrich religious instruction and foster spiritual growth
opportunities.
7. Live out the gospel values and teachings of the Catholic Church in their teaching and interaction with
students and staff
