The ideal candidate will assist in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for students.
Responsibilities
- Support children’s learning and development through individual and small group interactions.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
- Assist with classroom routines, including snack time, nap time, and transitions between activities.
- Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Help with child development activities and educational tasks
- Collaborate with teachers to create and implement educational strategies
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in early childhood education preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently when needed
