Position Highlights

Responsibilities
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Provide direct patient care to individuals participating in the CardioPulmonary Rehab and Wellness programs at both Albany and Troy locations.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Provide patient education.
- Assist patients with exercise equipment and ensure safety.
- Assess and reassess patient’s needs to achieve both program and personal goals.
- A current license to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the State of New York
- Current RRT credentials through the National Board of Respiratory Care
- 1 year experience in a Pulmonary Rehab Program preferred.
- Must possess the ability to assess, plan, and evaluate patient care.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
- BLS , EKG Interpretation, and ACLS required within 1 year of hire.
- Flexibility and willingness to float between SPHP locations as needed.
