Position Summary
The 4th Grade Teacher will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a standards-based instructional program that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, student-centered, and skilled at building strong relationships with students and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging lessons in all core subjects (ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies) aligned with state standards.
- Create a positive and structured learning environment that supports students’ academic and social-emotional development.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Use assessments and data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and families.
- Maintain consistent communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with grade-level team members and support staff to plan curriculum and activities.
- Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events.
- Live out the gospel values and teachings of the Catholic Church in their teaching and interaction with students and staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in education or related field
- Experience teaching in a school setting
- Knowledge of current instruction methodologies and assessments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student success and equity in education
