What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Merchandise Seasonal Internship position at St. Paul Saints?
Description:
- The full-time summer internship will provide you with a tremendous understanding of merchandise operations for a minor-league baseball operation as you assist with the execution of the Saints’ 34rd season, and 6th as the triple-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. The summer seasonal merchandise intern will primarily be focused on merchandising, store operations, webstore operations, retail product development and inventory/assortment management. The intern will also have an opportunity to gain experience in other aspects of the business including corporate partnerships, group and hospitality sales, ticket office, special events, community relations, and promotions and marketing.
- *Please note: The St. Paul Saints do not offer any internships in player development, scouting, player operations, athletic training, baseball analytics or anything else related to the baseball activities of the organization.
Qualifications Required:
- Applicant must be a college Junior, Senior or recently graduated
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to quickly build rapport with fans and assess their needs
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Applicants must not have another internship or job and payment is available if certain requirements are met.
Time Commitment: March 27, 2026 through September 13th, 2026. If candidates are still enrolled in school, hours will be flexible during school months. Once the school year has concluded, interns are expected to work full-time.
