What are the responsibilities and job description for the Before and After School Care Staff Member position at St. Paul's Lutheran School?
St. Paul's Lutheran Church and School's Before and After School Program is looking for childcare assistants for the 2026-27 school year. Hours available are 6:50-8:20 a.m. and 2:50-5:45 p.m. Schedules can be flexible.
Responsibilities:
- To provide a safe and secure environment
- To provide the tools for learning with a balance of developmentally appropriate activities and materials
- To be a good role-model who will enjoy actively engaging with children and encourage freedom with responsibility
- To value parents as partners in their child's education
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Must be at least 16 years of age and willing to undergo a background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
