St. Paul Lutheran Church & School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Middle School Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who is committed to academic excellence, Christian values, and fostering a nurturing classroom where every child is valued as a unique child of God.
The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and faith-centered learning environment that supports both academic growth and interpersonal development. This teacher will partner closely with families and school leadership to help students thrive spiritually, socially, emotionally, and academically.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging instruction aligned with approved curriculum
- Teach core elementary subjects including:
- Language Arts
- Reading
- Mathematics
- Science
- Social Studies
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress and achievement
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and administration
- Foster a positive classroom culture rooted in Christian values
- Support students’ spiritual, emotional, and academic development
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student success
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid teaching license required
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for working in a faith-based educational environment
