Senior Maintenance – Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Senior Maintenance to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of maintenance areas and a willingness to learn new skills. We offer training for the right candidate!
Responsibilities & Experience in the following areas:
- Electrical maintenance and repairs
- Plumbing systems
- HVAC systems, including air handlers and boilers
- Life safety systems: fire alarms, sprinkler systems
- Door security systems and nurse call systems
- Wall patching and painting
- Snow removal using plow trucks, tractors, snow blowers, skid steers, and other equipment
- Lawn care and landscaping, including use of mowers, trimmers, and edgers
- Floor scrubbers and kitchen equipment cleaning
- Coordinating and working with contractors on projects
- Conducting safety drills (fire, severe weather, etc.)
Key Qualities & Requirements:
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Self-motivated with practical, common-sense problem-solving abilities
- Willing to learn and grow in the role
- Good organizational and computer skills
- Ability to work in a healthcare, nursing home, or assisted living facility environment
- Flexibility for early morning or evening hours as needed (particularly for kitchen maintenance)
- On-call rotation every 4 to 5 weeks
Salary : $22 - $25
