A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1964. We are seeking to hire a Payroll Coordinator – TEMPORARY (approximately 3 months).
- $18 to $20 per hour based on circumstances including skills, qualifications, degrees and certifications, prior job experience, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
Payroll Coordinator Qualifications:
- High School diploma or the equivalent.
- Payroll processing experience required.
- Knowledge of Illinois wage and hour laws required.
- Working knowledge of a variety of software programs, including Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of UKG and Workforce Dimensions preferred.
Payroll Coordinator Job Summary:
- Prepare biweekly payroll.
- Work with department heads to clarify, paid-time-off, overtime and verify missing timeclock punches.
- Calculate termination pay and any required adjustments.
- Process referral bonuses.
- Prepare payroll related reports, as needed.
- Maintain salaried exempt Paid-Time-Off spreadsheets.
- Maintain and approve Nursing Agency invoices.
