Afternoon Preschool After School Tiny Thinkers Teacher

This position is one of the funniest jobs you will ever have. You get to work with children in a low key atmosphere and play for 2 hrs. We are looking for someone that is available to work Monday through Friday 3:15- 5:30. You would be working in with a group of 3 other teachers. There are 26) 3 and 4 yr olds. We are located in a school setting; we follow a school calendar. This job only runs through May.

We are located off Shelbyville Road, 40245

• Get to know your co-workers, the children and parents
• Help keep the children safe and happy
• Set up activities for the children to do while inside (we have supplies galore)
• Sit with the children and hear all the tales of a 3 and 4 yr olds life
• Watch to make sure the kids are safe on the playground
• Help serve afternoon snack each day
• Help clean up after snack
• Take the children out to their parents when they arrive
• Communicate - children ask a lot of questions

• Must be 18
• Have patience
• Work Monday thru Friday
• Must have a High School diploma or GED
• Must enjoy working with children
• Pass all background checks required by the State of Ky
• Do paid training required by the State
• Have a TB test or be able to get one, we will provide
• Be able to put your phone up and focus on the kids

• Someone that truly enjoys interacting with the children
• Experience with working with children in a group
• Think on your feet
• Sing off key
• Read a book or sit on the floor building or doing a puzzle with the children
Have common sense

• Evenings and weekends off
