Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
EXPECTATIONS:
- Safely troubleshoot and repair all mill equipment associated with paper machines, recycled pulp mill and utilities
- ·Experience working on pumps, bearings, and machine alignment
- ·Mill maintenance reliability
- ·Mechanical drive systems
- ·Paper machine equipment
- ·Pulp mill equipment
- · General mill maintenance
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- · May require lifting of 50 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
- · May require stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
- · May require pushing or pulling of objects.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Work is mostly located inside and protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes. Some projects may require being outdoors.
· Physical surroundings may have extremes of wet and humid conditions and may be subject to noise and vibration.
· Physical surroundings may expose individual to fumes, odors, humidity, wet, dust, and poor ventilation.
· 8-hour work schedule.
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Skilled industrial mechanical knowledge
· Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure
· Able to read safety rules, instructions in the use and maintenance of shop tools, and equipment
· Able to read instructions for assembling and disassembling equipment and/or machinery.
· Basic computer skills
· Organization and attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.21 - $32.00 per hour
