Location: Spring Grove, PA

Job Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 6am-2pm. Thursday 2pm-10pm
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking attentive, professional, and dependable Unarmed Security Officers to join our security team. The primary responsibility of this role is to monitor and control vehicle and pedestrian access to secured properties, ensuring that only authorized individuals enter while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.

This position is ideal for candidates who are detail-oriented, reliable, and able to provide excellent customer service while maintaining strong situational awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor all entry and exit points of the facility or gated community.
• Verify identification, credentials, and authorization of all personnel, visitors, and vehicles entering the property.
• Log and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing traffic.
• Conduct visual inspections of vehicles and packages when required.
• Monitor surveillance systems and security alarms as assigned.
• Enforce property rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or safety concerns.
• Provide clear and professional communication with site management and dispatch.
• Prepare detailed daily activity and incident reports.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional access control post.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred, especially in access control or gate operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor required.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during long periods of duty.
• Basic computer or report-writing skills.
• Must be able to stand, sit, or remain in a gatehouse for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation
