Unarmed Security Officer - Warehouse
Location: Sparrows Point, MD
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday | 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available
- Monday and Tuesday | 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Position Overview:Seeking qualified Unarmed Security Officers to join the team and provide dedicated security services at a large warehouse and distribution center for a logistics client. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe and secure environment while representing the professionalism and integrity expected in the private security industry.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor the client’s warehouse, loading docks, storage areas, and parking lots to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activity.
- Control access to the facility by verifying employee, vendor, and visitor credentials in accordance with site procedures.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, property damage, or policy violations.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations.
- Complete accurate, detailed daily activity, incident, and shift reports.
- Provide clear communication and support to site management and logistics personnel as needed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous demeanor while on duty.
Requirements:
- Current Maryland Guard Card (Unarmed Security License)
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Own, reliable vehicle (for commuting and/or site patrols)
- Strong communication, observation, and reporting skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
