Unarmed Security Officer (Part-Time) – Arlington, TX

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

Schedule: Friday – Sunday

Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Part-Time | Weekends

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to support a high-activity distribution facility in Arlington, TX. This role focuses on controlled access, strong customer service, and effective use of security technology to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage controlled access points, verify credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs
• Utilize access control systems and basic computer programs for reporting and monitoring
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors
• Monitor premises and respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or safety concerns
• Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports
• Conduct routine patrols and facility inspections

Requirements:

• Valid Texas Level II Security License (Required)
• Previous security experience required (warehouse/distribution experience preferred)
• Experience with access control systems and basic computer/reporting tools
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain professional in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Work Environment:

• Active warehouse/distribution setting
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods
• Must be available to work weekends
