Part-Time Weekend Security Officer
Location: Johnstown, PA
Schedule:
- Monday & Tuesday | 3:00PM to 11:00PMWenesday & Thursday | 11:00PM to 7:00AM
Pay Rate: $16.50 / Per Hour
Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide weekend security coverage at a school facility in the Johnstown, PA area. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols of the facility and surrounding areas
- Monitor access points and control site entry and exit
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
- Complete accurate and timely incident and activity reports
- Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and safety concerns
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence at all times
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Qualifications:
- Prior security experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to work weekend daylight shifts (8am-4pm)
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain alert and professional during extended periods
- Must demonstrate reliability, integrity, and sound judgment
- Ability to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors
Requirements:
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location
