This Unarmed Security Officer position in Plymouth, MI is a customer-service-oriented security role that combines patrol duties, incident response, report writing, and safety monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct foot, vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle patrols.
- Monitor for security threats, hazards, and emergencies.
- Write detailed incident reports and document unusual activities.
- Respond to incidents according to company policies and post orders.
- Provide customer service, visitor reception, loss prevention, or access control functions depending on the site.
- Follow emergency procedures and communicate with supervisors when issues arise.
- Maintain attendance, appearance, and training requirements.

Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to write clear and accurate reports.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass background checks and any required drug screening.
- Any state-required security license, registration, or permit.
Preferred

- Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience.
- Experience with scheduling, operations, or security-industry functions.
- Clean driving record if the position requires patrol vehicle operation.
Schedule & Pay
- Pay: $18.45/hour
- Shifts: Midnight until 8:00 AM
- Days: Sunday-Thursday
- Status: Full-time
