Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Arlington, TX
Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday
Shift: 10:00 PM -6:00 AM
Pay: $16.50 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team at a busy distribution facility in Arlington, TX. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by monitoring premises, enforcing policies, and responding to incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and patrol the distribution facility premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or safety hazards
- Control access at entry and exit points, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Write clear and accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Collaborate with site management and local authorities as needed
- Conduct routine inspections of the facility, including warehouse and logistics areas
Qualifications:
- Valid Texas Level 2 Security License (Required)
- Previous security experience required; experience in distribution, warehouse, or logistics environments preferred
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
- Basic computer skills for report writing and access control systems
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Work Environment:
- Distribution/warehouse setting with moderate to high activity levels
- May require standing, walking, and patrols for extended periods
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
