Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Security Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our security team at a key location in Warwick, NY. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the security field, including prior supervisory experience, and a New York State Guard License. This is a Full-Time, unarmed position, and the supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of unarmed security officers, ensuring site safety, and overseeing scheduling and coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision: Oversee and direct a team of unarmed security officers, ensuring all shifts are properly covered, and the security of the site is maintained at all times.
• Scheduling & Coverage: Create and manage security schedules, handle call-offs, and ensure proper coverage for all shifts. Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate site needs and employee availability.
• Training & Support: Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to security staff to ensure proper adherence to security protocols and procedures. Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations.
• Site Security: Monitor the safety and security of the premises, ensuring that all access points, gates, and other security measures are fully operational.
• Incident Management: Respond to security incidents, manage escalations, and ensure proper reporting and documentation of any occurrences.
• Customer Service: Interact with clients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner while ensuring that security procedures are followed. Provide a visible, approachable presence to maintain a safe environment.
• Administrative Duties: Utilize computer systems to track employee attendance, manage reports, and maintain security logs. Ensure all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure that all security policies, procedures, and legal requirements are adhered to. Prepare detailed incident and shift reports.

Required Qualifications:

• New York State Guard License(Required).
• Previous Security Supervisor experience (Minimum of 2 years preferred).
• Strong security background with experience managing security teams.
• Open availability, including the ability to work flexible hours and cover shifts as needed.
• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in security management software, scheduling tools, and standard office applications.
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
• High level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in high-security environments, such as commercial buildings, industrial sites, or large facilities.
• Previous experience with staff scheduling and resource management.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
