Job Skills / Requirements
Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Youngstown, OH
Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday / Midnight-8:00 am
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Duties
- Follow post orders, company policies, and site procedures
- Conduct foot or vehicle patrols as assigned.
- Monitor and report security threats, hazards, suspicious activity, and emergencies
- Provide customer service, visitor assistance, loss prevention, and access control
- Write clear and detailed incident reports
- Respond to incidents and notify appropriate supervisors or authorities
- Follow emergency response and use-of-force procedures
- Complete required training and maintain professional conduct and attendance
- Must remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the entire shift. Sleeping while on duty is strictly prohibited.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state-required security license, registration, or permit
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Professional customer service and conflict-de-escalation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Security, military, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
- Driver’s license and clean driving record may be required for certain assignments
