Pay: $13.50 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time / As Needed (Seasonal/Temporary)
Job Overview:We are currently hiring dependable and professional Security Officers for a seasonal/temporary position. This role involves maintaining a secure environment by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents while providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of security-related duties based on assigned post
- Detect and report suspicious activities or criminal behavior
- Patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible security presence
- Serve as a deterrent to crime and enforce site rules and policies
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with a sense of urgency
- Monitor daily activity to ensure compliance with procedures
- Report unusual incidents to management
- Complete clear, accurate, and legible reports
- Provide high-quality customer service at all times
- Work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues efficiently
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of security experience preferred
- Military or law enforcement background preferred
- Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Must be comfortable working in high-traffic environments
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods (8 hours)
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must maintain all required licenses and carry them while on duty
- Willingness to complete pre-employment requirements, including:
- Drug screening
- Background investigation
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
