Project Manager - Security Services

Location: Leesburg, VA (Outside DC Area)
Salary: $80,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (with after-hours availability in emergencies)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee our security operations in the Leesburg, VA area. This role requires a strong background in supervising guard services and the ability to manage a team of supervisors and security officers. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing large security teams and protecting sensitive facilities, though we are willing to be flexible based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage 2 supervisors and 30 security officers.
• Ensure security operations meet high standards of safety, professionalism, and compliance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Handle emergency situations and after-hours availability as required.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.
• Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement in security operations.

Requirements:

• 10 years’ experience in supervising guard services, with at least 5 years focused on protecting sensitive facilities (experience with high-security environments preferred, but not required).
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
• Experience in the security field or a business management-related field is preferred.
• Education:
• • Associate's (AAS) or Bachelor's (BBA/BS) in General Business Administration, Management, or specialized tracks in Finance, Marketing, HR, Accounting, Supply Chain, or Entrepreneurship.
  • Master's (MBA/MS) with specializations in areas like Healthcare Management, Technology Management, or International Business is a plus.
• Additional Key Certifications (preferred but not required):
• • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)
  • ECBA/CCBA/CBAP (Business Analysis certifications)
  • CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional)
  • Certified Manager (CM)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of security operations and business management practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
