Job Title: Plaza Patrol Security Officer
Location: Pittsburgh
Pay: $19.62 per hour
Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and professional Plaza Patrol Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment. This position requires active patrol, strong observational skills, and a visible presence to deter criminal activity in a plaza setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine patrols of plaza grounds, including parking areas and surrounding property
- Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns promptly
- Serve as a visible deterrent to theft, vandalism, and other violations
- Respond quickly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
- Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff
- Write detailed and accurate incident and activity reports
- Communicate effectively with management and local authorities when necessary
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous security experience preferred
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license (if patrol requires vehicle use)
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Willingness to complete pre-employment screening (background check, etc.)
