Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Job Type: Part-Time | Overnight
Schedule: Saturday & Sunday | 7pm to 7am
Pay: $15.00 per hour
We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide safety and security services at a large, federally contracted industrial facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and able to work independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure assigned areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety and policy compliance.
- Control access to the site and verify credentials of employees and visitors.
- Report and document any unusual activity, safety concerns, or incidents.
- Respond to alarms or emergencies according to established procedures.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior security experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- General computer proficiency.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Must pass any required background checks.
- Must be dependable and able to work the full overnight schedule consistently.
