Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Coraopolis, PA
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Friday to Sunday / 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to provide overnight security coverage at a facility in Coraopolis, PA. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, strong situational awareness, and a proactive approach to safety and security while on duty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the facility
- Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols to ensure the safety and security of the property
- Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access
- Control access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, alarms, or emergencies
- Accurately document incidents, observations, and daily activities through detailed reports
- Enforce site policies, procedures, and security protocols in a consistent and professional manner
- Communicate effectively with management, staff, and emergency responders when necessary
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, risk awareness, and prevention at all times
Qualifications:
- Prior security experience preferred
- Professional demeanor, appearance, and strong communication skills
- Ability to remain alert, observant, and responsive during overnight shifts
- Strong reliability, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform routine patrols
