Unarmed Security Officer
Location: Erie, PA
Schedule: Monday-Friday 11pm-7am
Pay: $14.00
About the Role:We are seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to maintain safety and security at an industrial facility during overnight hours. The role focuses on protecting personnel, property, and operations in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter
- Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols
- Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports
- Provide a visible security presence and assist employees and visitors as needed
- Respond calmly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies
- Follow all company policies, post orders, and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 18 years of age (or per state requirement)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior security, industrial, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Must pass background checks and any required training
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work overnight hours and remain alert
