Outbound Sales & Customer Service Representative

Reports To: Chief Technology Officer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA — Hybrid/On-site. One to two office days per week preferred; fully remote candidates will be considered.

The Outbound Sales & Customer Success Representative drives new business for the Technology Division's remote guarding and security technology solutions and becomes the primary point of contact for the customers they win.

This is primarily a sales role: approximately 70% outbound sales and business development and 30% customer onboarding and account growth.

Outbound Sales & Business Development — ~70%

• Make outbound calls and run email campaigns to prospects in industries such as logistics, retail, construction, and critical infrastructure.
• Research target accounts and tailor outreach to their security needs.
• Qualify leads, book discovery meetings and demos, and involve the CTO in qualified opportunities.
• Build and manage your pipeline in HubSpot, tracking outreach, follow-ups, and conversions.
• Lead with COMMAND™ (remote guarding) and PERIMETER™ (mobile surveillance), with opportunities to sell TRANSIT™ and SAFETY™ as you grow.
• Work with marketing on messaging, campaign timing, and target account lists.

Customer Onboarding & Account Growth — ~30%

• Own customer onboarding after the sale, coordinating with the Security Operations Center (SOC) through technical connection and go-live.
• Work with the CTO to develop and improve standard operating procedures for new customers.
• Maintain regular customer contact, answer service questions, and identify risks early.
• Escalate technical or operational issues internally and follow through until resolved.
• Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer records and interaction history in HubSpot.
• Share feedback from prospects and customers to help improve our messaging and market positioning.

• 2 years of experience in client-facing sales, business development, account management, or customer success, with measurable results you can describe (quota, meetings set, pipeline, revenue, retention, etc.).
• Comfortable making outbound calls and sending outbound emails daily, with the resilience to keep going after a "no."
• Clear, professional verbal and written communication.
• Strong organization and attention to detail, including keeping a CRM current.
• Ability to follow and help develop standard operating procedures.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Experience selling services or recurring-revenue contracts to businesses.
• Experience in physical security, remote guarding, B2B technology, or SaaS.
• Familiarity with video monitoring, access control, or alarm systems.
• HubSpot experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

• Self-directed, motivated by commission, and driven to sell.
• Resilient and consistent with outbound prospecting.
• Strong relationship- and trust-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with reliable follow-through.
• Able to balance new business development with customer onboarding and service.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
