Night Shift Security Officer

Position: Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Ironton, OH

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 10:00pm to 6:00am

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass a criminal background check, fingerprinting, drug screening, and other required clearances
• Must complete medical marijuana training
• Must be willing and able to obtain an Ohio Guard Card
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required
• Valid driver's license may be required for some assignments

Please Note: The Ohio licensing and clearance process takes approximately 2–3 months before employment can begin.

Responsibilities

• Patrol assigned property on foot or by vehicle, golf cart, or bicycle (as assigned)
• Monitor for safety and security concerns
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Write accurate incident reports
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe environment
• Follow all site policies, procedures, and post orders
• Complete all required training

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security, military, law enforcement, customer service, or related experience preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Professional, reliable, and able to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
