Logistics Security OfficerLogistics Warehouse Security Officer Location: Des Plaines, IL Job Type: Part-Time | Weekends Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-9:00pm** Occasional Friday and holiday shifts may be optional or required based on operational needs **Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour We are seeking a professional, observant, and detail-oriented Logistics Warehouse Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the safety, security, and operational efficiency of a busy warehouse and distribution facility.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and control access for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers.Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of warehouse floors, storage areas, yard space, and docks.Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance systems.Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, alarms, or safety concerns.Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, visitor/truck entries, and incidents.Communicate effectively with staff, management, and incoming officers during shift hand-offs.Required QualificationsIllinois 20-Hour Unarmed Security Training CertificateActive Illinois PERC LicensePrevious security experience, preferably in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or industrial settingsValid driver’s license and clean driving record; must clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checkAbility to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, indoors and outdoorsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional, calm, and dependable in a fast-paced, high-traffic environmentAbility to accurately document activities and follow established proceduresIL #122-001049 IL #123.000460#IND1Why St. Moritz?Are you looking for a rewarding career in the security industry?
