High-End Retail Security Officer – New York, NY
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Rotating shifts (full availability required, including evenings, weekends, holidays)
Overview:We are seeking polished, customer-focused Security Officers to support luxury retail environments. This role blends asset protection with high-end customer service, requiring professionalism, discretion, and strong situational awareness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a visible yet discreet presence; professionally greet clients and staff
- Monitor entrances, exits, and sales areas to prevent theft or disruptions
- Conduct routine patrols (sales floor, fitting rooms, stock areas)
- Respond quickly to suspicious activity, incidents, or emergencies
- Assist with store operations (opening/closing, alarms, escorts, deliveries)
- Complete accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Communicate effectively with management, team members, and law enforcement
- Support a safe, welcoming environment aligned with luxury brand standards
Required Qualifications:
- Valid New York State Security Guard License
- 1–2 years of security experience
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm in fast-paced or high-pressure situations
- Flexible availability for rotating schedules
Preferred:
- Experience in luxury retail, loss prevention, or similar environments
- Candidates are encouraged to dress in business professional attire for the interview.
