Flex EMT Security Officer
Location: Cochise County, AZ
Pay: $22.75/hour
Schedule: Flex – Any Day, Any Shift (Open Availability Required)
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and highly adaptable Flex EMT Security Officer to provide coverage in Cochise County. This role combines security responsibilities with emergency medical support, requiring professionalism, quick decision-making, and flexibility.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working an assignment and a variety of shifts while maintaining a strong safety presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide unarmed security services per assignment
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide EMT-level care as needed
- Conduct mobile and/or foot patrols
- Fill in for open shifts, call-offs, and on-demand coverage
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized or unsafe activity
- Write detailed incident and activity reports
- Coordinate with emergency responders when necessary
- Follow all company and client safety protocols
Requirements
- Current EMT Certification (required)
- Active Arizona Unarmed Guard Card License (required)
- Prior security experience required
- Experience in flex, mobile patrol, or multi-site coverage strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation required
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations professionally
Availability Requirements
- Must be flexible with open availability
- Must be willing to work any day and any shift
- Includes days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be available for on-call and last-minute coverage
